Sugar coated sheet (coating) production process

1. process: the tablet core, isolation layer, packet layer, packet packet pink coat, coat, light colored.

(1) isolation layer

Talc powder can be added to the proper adhesion, then continue to stir, so that it is evenly adhered to the core, began heating or blowing hot air 30~50 degrees, each layer of drying time is about 30min, generally wrapped 3~5 layer. Pay attention to explosion protection and fire protection, because organic solvent is used in package isolation layer.

(2) coat of powder

In order to eliminate the edges and corners of the tablet, two layers of thick powder coat are covered on the outside of the isolating layer. The main materials are syrup and talcum powder. The commonly used syrup concentration is 65% (g/g) or 85% (g/ml), talc powder is 100 mesh sieve powder. When operating a slurry, and sprinkle the flour, and then drying 20 ~ 3Omin (40 ~ 55 DEG C), repeat 15 ~ 18 times, until the tablet edges disappear. In order to increase the viscosity of the syrup, 10% gelatin or Arabia gum can be added into the syrup.

(3) sugar coat

Make one side smooth and smooth, delicate and solid, usually wrap 10~15 layers. (4) colored sugar coat

The process of coating colored sugar coating is the same as that of coating sugar coating, but the addition of moon pigment in syrup is mainly for the purpose of easy identification and beauty. Generally requires about 8~15 layers. Colored syrup with colored sugar coating (added with edible pigment in syrup, color from shallow to deep, dosage reduced gradually, avoiding appearance of stain. Start at 37 deg.c, gradually to room temperature and color to the last layer should not be too wet or too dry, otherwise it is not easy to polish.

(5) lighting

The aim is to increase the gloss and hydrophobicity of the tablets. Generally used in Sichuan wax produced in Sichuan, before refining, that is, heated to 80~100 degrees, after melting 100 mesh sieve, remove impurities, and add 2% of silicone oil mixed, cooling, crushing, take 80 mesh sieve fine powder stand-by. (6) practice

The concentration of Simple Syrup was 70% (70kg syrup and 30kg purified water once boiled syrup, under normal circumstances, once used as good, can not be repeated heating) Isolation layer: 2 layer, gelatin syrup was added into 2% and 1%, after each addition to sprinkle talcum powder (per 200kg tablets by 5kg talc), gelatin (per 200kg tablets with 60g and 30g gelatin) to advance by 3 times of water immersion. Each layer is sprinkled with pulp, etc. after the film is mixed (about 5min), it begins to heat (generally 10 ~ 15min). Sugar coating layer: 10 layer, adding 800 ~ 2000ml of Simple Syrup, four to five after the package began to reduce temperature, finally stopped heating, room temperature heating directly, to hand out the film not suitable for powder. Polish: were added (200kg tablets) Sichuan wax polish 150g and 50g, 50g and 30ml second silicone oil wax added pre mixing. In this process, only exhaust air is opened.

Problems and solutions in the process of 2. coating sugar coating

(1) uneven colors or spots

The reason is that the amount is too small and not colored syrup mixing, coating when the drying temperature is too high, the sugar crystal precipitation caused by excessive one-sided rough coat is wet; polishing; soluble pigment in the drying process of "migration"; traditional Chinese medicine tablets due to damp discoloration.  Treatment method: "thickening coat" or "deepening color"".

(2) shelling

The reason is that the core is not dry; the coating is not dried in time and the moisture enters the chip; the expansion coefficient of the coat and the tablet is different.  Treatment method: in addition to coating core drying, coating sugar strictly control the amount and speed of feeding, pay attention to the drying temperature and degree. If the shelling is found, the coating is re coated.

(3) one sided crack

The reason is that the improper amount of syrup and talcum powder; high temperature fast drying, the sugar crystal precipitation have one-sided crack; carbonate reaction of carbon dioxide and talc in acidic drugs.

(5) sticky pan

The reason is that excessive syrup or uneven mixing is more likely to occur when the pot temperature is low. Treatment method: the coating process should be stirred evenly, syrup concentration should be constant, appropriate dosage, pot temperature should not be too low.

(6) non stick pot of syrup

The reason is that the pot wall waxing not divisible; early operation in electric furnace; the coating pan installation angle is too small. Treatment method: wash the wall wax powder; use blowing hot air, low temperature furnace and other methods to make the film and the boiler wall uniform temperature rise; adjust the coating pot angle.

(7) not only can't polish it

The reason is that the one-sided sugar crystal and the rough; polished tablets too dry or too wet; damp, excessive amount of wax powder. Treatment method: control the coating conditions, adjust the dry humidity and wax powder dosage.

3. sugar coating process

(1) the required accessories for sugar coating are sucrose, talc, gelatin and pigment, in which the amount of talc can reach more than 50% of the weight of the core.

(2) the bottom because the hardness of the tablet core can rarely reach more than 6kg, plus the individual core has some loose plate, if the direct isolation layer, easy bad phenomenon that the tablet core rolling in coating pan in the process, and the influence of the quality of tablets, so it needs to be wrapped in 2-3 layer powder coating. Increase the core hardness and wear resistance.

(3) Simple Syrup coated with sugar.

(4) colored layer colored syrup.

(5) polish with wax or paint to achieve a bright luster and prevent the outside moist air invasion.

4. preparation method of sugar coating material

Sugar coating material is best prepared fresh, to prevent mildew and other pollution during storage, and affect the coating quality, the common materials have the following preparation methods.

(1) preparation of general concentration in Simple Syrup's 68-70% in the interlayer container suitable with purified water calculation weighed, through steam heated to boiling and then weighed the sucrose, slowly added to the container, and stir until the mixture, boiling, the foam floating on the left above the global clean stop heating. While hot through 100 mesh sieve to syrup storage container insulation standby.

(2) preparation of Ming mucilage

(3) preparation of 2% gelatin syrup

(4) preparation of colored syrup

(5) talc powder

The main material of the powder coating is used as an extender.

(6) Sichuan wax

White or white lumps, before the need to be refined, heating to 80-100 deg.c dissolved over 100 mesh sieve to remove impurities, cooling backup in a water bath, when crushed into 80 mesh fine powder, can add some two methyl silicone oil as a light agent.

Three. Operation process

(1) preparation: subcontract the clothes pot by air, heat, apply a thin layer of suspension on the inner wall of the pan, blow dry.

(2) adding the tablet into the coating pot, turning the coating pan, blowing the hot air, adding the proper amount of suspension slurry, drying.

(3) add once every 8-10 minutes, add about 1kg each time until it is finished.

(4) dry the powder with two layers and dry it.

(5) use Simple Syrup to pack 3-5 layers, blow dry.

(6) use color syrup to pack 8-10 layers and dry thoroughly.

(7) wrap Simple Syrup with 5-8 layers, not dry.

(8) stop, cover. (braised slices) 20 minutes.

(9) adding wax, polishing, 30 minutes.

(10) silica gel dryer, drying for 24 hours
