Reasons for dust generated by rotary tablet press machine
(1) Dust is generated during the manual feeding process.
(2) During the normal operation of the equipment on the stamping sheet: 1) The generated dust is adsorbed by the four plexiglass doors, and the tableting situation cannot be seen. In order to cope with the production, the plexiglass door is opened, which violates the GMP requirements; 2) The upper part of the punching part also enters the dust, and the dust is adsorbed by the regularly added lubricating oil to cause oil shortage. If it is not cleaned in time, the upper tail and the upper rail are often worn out, so that the equipment cannot operate normally; 3) the equipment is operated for a long time. Dust is generated and will enter the electrical cabinet to cause electrical failure; 4) Dust will contaminate the tableting chamber, and it is not easy to clean and disinfect the tableting chamber.
(3) Dust generated during the normal operation of the equipment under the stamping process, although the suction port is sucked away, the head of the lower and lower punches of the middle mold will adhere to a certain amount of dust, and the lower punch is removed, and the attached dust along the edge The lower punching hole enters the lower rail and mixes with the lubricating oil to form a sludge, which does not clean the environment that pollutes the tableting chamber for a long time.
(4) If the equipment is in normal operation, the fine powder extracted from the feeder will not be accumulated in time. As the turntable rotates, it enters the lower rail through the gap between the turntable and the platen, and the incoming dust absorbs the lubricating oil, causing the wear of the lower punch and the lower guide rail of the press wheel, reducing the service life of the guide rail. If the break is not timely, the undercut will be damaged.
