Operation mechanism of multi punch rotary tablet press machine
Working turntable
The rotary tablet press has a working turntable rotating around a vertical axis. The outer edge of the rotary table is divided into three layers, and each layer is evenly distributed with a plurality of concentric through holes (same as the number of pairs). The hole diameter of the upper and lower layers is the same, and the size and the outer diameter of the upper and lower punching are clearance fit. As shown in the figure, the upper punching and the lower punching are concentric, and can slide up and down in the hole of the rotary table. The diameter of the hole in the middle layer matches the outer diameter of the middle die. The middle die is installed into the hole in the middle layer of the rotary table, and the middle die and the working rotary table are fastened together by the top wire of the middle die. At the outer edge of the lower layer of the working turntable, there is a worm gear tightly matched with the working turntable to mesh with the worm in the main transmission system, which drives the working turntable to rotate. When the working turntable rotates, it also drives the up and down punching and the middle die to rotate. When the working turntable rotates, it is controlled by the respective guide rails to punch up and down in the turntable hole to make up and down axial movement, so as to complete the work of pressing and discharging the tablet. The rotary table rotates for one cycle, and the whole drawing die passes through the feeding mechanism, filling mechanism, pressure mechanism, and discharging mechanism to complete the continuous pressing process.
Feeding mechanism
The feeding mechanism of the punching sheet machine is the moon grid type feeding mechanism, which is fixed on the frame and does not move relative to the frame when it works. There is a certain gap between the lower bottom surface and the upper surface of the middle mold fixed on the working turntable. When the rotating middle mold passes under the feeder, the drug particles in the grid fall into the mold hole, and the curved grid plate causes the form of multiple drug filling. The last grid of the feeder is equipped with a scraping plate, which is close to the working plane of the rotary table, and can dry and take away the redundant drugs on the surface of the rotary table and the middle mold. The moon grid feeder is made of non-toxic plastic or copper.
Feeding process: the hopper fixed on the rack will distribute and supplement powder to the feeder at any time. The function of the filling rail is to control the dosage. When the lower punching reaches the highest point, make the mold hole face the scraper plate, and then the lower punching will drop again, so as to make the powder in the mold hole vibrate again after the scraper plate scraps.
The rotary tablet press equipped with the forced feeder is a kind of feeder developed in modern times. It is a sealed feeder. Two groups of rotary scraping leaves are installed at the discharge port. When the middle die enters the coverage area of the feeder with the rotary table, the scraping leaves force the drug particles to fill the middle die holes for many times. The feeder is suitable for high-speed rotary tablet press, especially for pressing particles with poor flow, which can improve the accuracy of dosage.
