Process flow of blister packing machine

Because the plastic film is mostly thermoplastic, the plastic film is heated and softened on the molding mould. The plastic film and aluminum foil without medicine (that is, no concave bubble) are extruded and glued into one by pressing roller. According to the commonly used dosage of the drug, the part of several drugs (mostly rectangular) is cut into one piece, and the process of aluminum plastic packaging is completed.

The process of film conveying, heating, concave bubble forming, feeding, printing, batch number, sealing, indentation, blanking and so on need to be completed on the bubble cover packaging machine, as shown in Fig .16-6. In the process of each station is an intermittent process, on the whole is continuous.

(1) The film conveying bubble cover packing machine is a kind of multi-function packing machine. The packaging machine is equipped with several film conveying mechanisms, whose function is to transport the film and make it pass through the above stations to complete the bubble cover packaging process. The conveying mechanism used in various types of bubble cover packaging machine in China is slot wheel mechanism, cam rocker mechanism, cam indexing mechanism, ratchet mechanism and so on. It can be selected according to the accuracy of conveying position, acceleration curve and adaptability of packaging material.

(2) Heating the forming film to a temperature capable of thermoforming, which is determined by the selected packaging material. The temperature range for hard pvc is 110~130℃. films in this range pvc have sufficient thermal strength and elongation. The temperature has an effect on the thermal forming effect and the ductility of packaging materials, so the temperature control is quite accurate. However, it should be noted that the temperature referred to here is the actual temperature of the pvc film and is measured directly on the surface of the film by a point thermometer (the temperature of the heating element is much higher than this temperature).

Domestic bubble packaging machine heating methods have radiation heating and conduction heating. Most thermoplastic packaging materials absorb 3.0~3.5μm wavelength infrared emission of energy. Therefore, it is best to use radiation heating method to heat the film.

Conductive heating Wei said contact heating. This heating method is to clip the film between the molding die and the heating roller, or between the upper and lower heating plates. this heating method has been successfully applied to the heating of polyvinyl chloride (pvc) materials.

The heating element uses electric energy as the heat source because its temperature is easy to control. Heater has metal tubular heater, milky quartz glass tubular heater and ceramic heater. The former is suitable for conduction heating and the latter two for radiation heating.

(3) Molding is an important process in the whole packing process.

1 Suction molding (negative pressure molding). The heated and softened film is inhaled into the bubble nest of the forming pancreas by vacuum to form a certain geometry, so as to complete the bubble forming. The suction molding generally adopts roller mould, the size of the forming bubble cover is small, the shape is simple, the drawing of the bubble cover is not uniform, and the top is thin.

Blow molding (positive pressure molding). The heated and softened film is blown into the bubble cover of the molding die by compressed air to form the required geometric bubble cover. The forming bubble cover wall thickness is more uniform, the shape is quite wide, can form the large size bubble cover. Blow molding is mostly used in plate mold.

3 punch assisted blow molding. With the help of the punch, the heated and softened film is pressed into the die cavity. When the punch is fully pressed, compressed air is put in to make the film close to the inner wall of the die cavity and complete the molding process. punch size is about 60%~90% of the molded cavity. The bubble cover with uniform wall thickness, wide angle, large size and complex shape can be obtained by reasonably designing the shape and size of the punch, the pushing speed and the pushing distance of the punch. Punch auxiliary molding is mostly used in flat bubble packaging machine.

Cold stamping of convex and concave die. When the packing material is rigid, the hot forming method is obviously not suitable, but the cold stamping method of convex and concave die is adopted, that is, the convex and concave die is closed and the diaphragm is formed, in which the air is discharged from the exhaust hole in the molding die.

(4) Filling drugs into molded plastic grooves may take many forms of feeder and charge simultaneously into a row of grooves. Through strict mechanical control, the single grain of clearance can be cut in the plastic groove, or it can be spread evenly at a certain speed, and at the same time, it can be fed into the groove of a thousand rows. Between the hopper and the rotary partition, the rotary partition groove or hole is restricted by scraper or fixed partition, only falling into a single drug. The rotation speed of the rotating partition should match the moving speed of the plastic film with foam, that is, to ensure that each row of grooves on the film falls into a single drug. There are several rows of concave bubbles on the plastic film, so it is necessary to set enough rotating partition length or number. For the horizontal shaft partition on the left side, there is sometimes no soft leather plate, but cofferdam and baffle must be set on both sides of the plastic film width to prevent the drug from falling out of the film.

Spring hose is mostly stainless steel filament wound dense grain hose, often used in hard capsule aluminum plastic bubble cover packaging, slightly larger than the inner diameter of the capsule, can ensure that the tube only stored single column capsule. Attention should be paid to ensure that the hose does not bend dead, which can ensure the smooth flow of the cavity sac in the pipe. Usually, with the help of the vibration of the whole machine, the hose jitter itself, so that the total stack of the cavity sac can be stored at the outlet of the lower end. There are many forms of card spring mechanism, which can use ratchet wheel, intermittent pull card spring to open and close, and ensure that each lift, only one capsule can be released, or the gap reciprocating movement can be used to open and close the card spring, each release of one capsule. In the mechanism setting, is often a row of hoses, south-intermittent mechanism to ensure linkage.

(5) Inspection and rectification using a manual or photoelectric detection device after the feeder timely check the situation of drug filling, if necessary, can be manually patch or pick up excess pellets. More commonly used is the use of rotating soft brush, in the plastic film forward, accompanied by slow push sweep. Because the soft brush works close to the plastic film, the excess pellets always rush to fill the concave bubble direction, and because of the soft brush push button, the vacant concave bubble will also fill in the medicine particles.

(6) The name of the medicine, the manufacturer and the method of taking the medicine in the printed aluminum-plastic packaging should be printed on the aluminum foil. The aluminum foil introduced as a roll will be printed before pressing with the plastic film. The mechanism of printing aluminum foil on the machine also needs a series of mechanisms such as uniform ink wheel, steel wheel, printing plate and so on. The non-toxic ink used in printing should also have the characteristics of easy drying to ensure that the handwriting is clear and lasting.

(7) The medicine is filled in the bubble cover of the heat-sealing molding film, and the covering film is covered on it, and then both are sealed. The basic principle is to heat the inner surface and then pressurize it into close contact to form a complete welding table, all of which are done in a very short time. There are two forms of heat seal: roller type and plate type.

1 roller press. The material to be sealed is sealed continuously through the rotating two rollers, but the packing material stays between the rotating two rollers and under pressure for a very short time. If you want to get a qualified heat seal, The speed of the roll must be very slow or the packing material must be fully preheated before passing through the heat seal roll.

Plate pressure type. When the material ready for sealing reaches the sealing station, contact the sealing surface through the heated heat sealing plate and the lower template, and press it closely together for welding, then leave quickly to complete a packaging process cycle. Plate mold heat-sealing packaging products are relatively flat, sealing pressure.

The surface of the heat sealing plate (roll) is formed by chemical milling or mechanical rolling to improve the sealing strength and the appearance quality of the finished product. But more importantly, it plays the role of stretching the material in the heat seal, thus eliminating the shrinkage fold. However, care must be taken to prevent piercing of the film during heat sealing.

The law of our country has made more and more strict restrictions on product packaging, and put forward higher requirements for marking and printing on packaging. In the industry standard of drug bubble packaging machine, it is clear that packaging machine must have batch number device. Packaging machine printing generally using punch molding to print out the production date and batch number. Batch number can be carried out in a separate station, or with heat seal, indentation in the same station.

(8) Indentation A piece of aluminum-plastic packaging medicine may be suitable for taking many times, for the convenience of use, can be punched on a piece of broken marks, with the hand can be easily broken into a number of small pieces, each small piece can be used once.

(9) Blanking the finished product of the sealed strip packaging into a specified size (i.e. piece size) is called the blanking process. In order to save packaging materials, it is hoped that both sides of the longitudinal and transverse blanking knife are the necessary parts of each piece of packaging, so as to minimize the blanking edge, because the blanking edge can not be reused and can only be abandoned. Because the edge of the blanking sheet is sharp, it is often necessary to punch the four corners into rounded corners to prevent injury. The remaining edges are still banded and closed on the machine with a separate roller.
